5 stars for roadhouse? Yep, totally sober writing this...nothing like sober while there! Jack's is worth the drive if you:

1. Like cold beer and BYOB.
2. Like live old style, hard ROCK music
3. Are a groupie for all-girl bands like Cover Girl (on FB!)
4. Want to watch a really diverse crowd dance their asses off - or do same to your own.
5. Don't have on a wife-beater. They have standards, folks. $7 T-shirts will make you one with the universe. Or at least, with Jack's.
6. Want to see bartender/bartendresses that kick ass and work a bar like nothing else.
7. Want to see how the other 1% parties.

I took my lady friend and La Princessa on a road trip recently to Jack's to watch said friend's daughter play with her cover band....and what a trip it was. Yeah, the place is rough, but I did not see a single fight, just a ton of fun and some personable peeps dancing like it was 1985. Yeah, the bathrooms will make you cringe, but nobody is judgin  you because they are too busy getting their drink and/or dance on. The beer is cold, the apps are decent enough for bar food, and you get an authentic Texas Roadhouse experience!

Jacks is one of those places you can walk into and drink a beer in peace. They've got an assortment of entertainment like Karaoke and Live Music. Your probably not going to make many friends walking in w/ your polo and pladd shorts, but if your into a good ole fashioned dive bar with some great people i.e. Floyd the owner (Shoutout to Floyd from Devin and Flywood) this is your spot. Beer is always cold and always cheap! The food is good bar food too, not some stuff pulled out of a bag, they actually slice and dice back there and put some Soul Gravy on it! Get out to the roadhouse and get your inner badass on!!! BYOB (Bring Your Own Bottle) just make sure and tip your waitress for the setups!
