Jesse's Xtreme Sports Bar

This bar is a really fun hang out place. There are pool tables, darts, karaoke, and "on-tv" poker. My husband goes here regularly to have a drink and relax. I always have a good time when I come around. The bartenders are really friendly, quick and attentive. Drinks are pretty tasty too! Not to mention that they have amazing wings and specials. During football season its the best place to watch the game since they have all the games playing and the grub is amazing. We regularly order wings to go.... They are that good!! We've only been in the Margate/Coconut Creek area for 8 months and this bar made me feel like I was still back home at one of my old bar hangouts. I would definitely recommend this to any of my friends that are looking for a good time.

My wife and I moved down from Delray Beach to Pompano and have been going to different bars in the area trying them out. We went here on Thursday night and a few drinks. The place in my opinion is a great place to spend time. My wife had the Philly cheese steak which she told me was excellent. The bartender (Jen) was very nice and polite and the other people at the bar (seemed like most were regulars) were friendly. It's a nice place to go for conversation or to be left alone whatever you want. As for the smoke, it's a bar. I'm not big on smoking but if I go to a bar I expect to smell smoke. We'll be back.

We stopped here 1 time for wings and some football. The wings were great, beer was good and eveything was cheap. It's kind of shabby here, needs to be rennovated and better TV's. They should ban smoking indoors too! It's gross to eat and smell smoke in your face at the same time. The place is kind of small and wouldn't require much effort to smoke outside. I don't think they get a lot of business here so they probably do it that way to keep the locals happy.

Update as of 6/7: The owner of this place contacted me almost immediately about my review. He informed me that there have been some upgrades made already to the TV's since I have been there last. Also, he made the point that as a bar he has to cater to the smoking crowd as it isn't a restaurant, it's a bar. Of all of my reviews, so far he is the first owner to actually care about my opinion and for that reason I will go back to give it another shot. Not many owners seem to really take pride in their place but he seems to. For this reason, I will upgrade my review to 4 stars and hope for the best when I come back.
