We stayed at the Franciscan across the street and got hungry pretty late. Nothing else was open, so we tried Jiffy's. I picked up the combo pizza. The staff was nice and best of all, the pizza turned out great. Next time we visit, we will go there for sure.

Over $80 for 4 extremely burnt pizzas? I think not.

To a group of starving Californians who were just learning that snow actually looks like SNOWFLAKES, individually shaped and all, and who had yet to learn how to properly install snow chains, a pizza joint that would deliver to our cabin seemed like a lifesaver.

Things were already off to an iffy start when we ordered our pizzas and were told that it would take about an hour for delivery since the delivery guy had not come into work yet, but we had plenty of alcohol to tide us over, so it wasn't a big deal. Over an hr and a half later, we were much drunker and much hungrier, and our pizza still had yet to arrive. We called Jiffy's again only to be told that the delivery guy was still nowhere to be found. In the end, we waited over two hours for a very unapologetic delivery guy to show up with our pizzas, which were extremely hard and burnt, probably from being reheated over and over, and our only compensation was to be told not to tip the guy.

Next time we'll just brave the journey to Safeway and buy some Digiornos.

I'm not sure how this pizza is so highly rated.  We had the double surprise of cold pizza that was BURNT.  Like, crust burnt to a crisp.  But cold.  At $30 for a large pizza, I'm not sure how they think it's acceptable to deliver a burnt pizza, but we were seriously disappointed.

Beyond that, the pizza itself was just ok and really, really greasy.  We had to take a paper towel to sop up some of the grease before we ate it.  There are some pretty good pizza places in North Lake Tahoe, so I am fine with crossing Jiffy's off my future list.  I just wish I would have known that prior to shelling out $30.

The pizza was DELICIOUS! And delivery in the snow so we don't have to leave our cozy vacay spot? PRICELESS!! We will definately utilize this place next time we're in town.

Maybe we were just unlucky. Or I guess you can say that Jiffy's was the unlucky one.

I had a terrible experience with Jiffy's Pizza.

After making a 4 hour drive from the bay, we finally arrived at our cabin in Tahoe. Unaccustomed to the cold and snowy road conditions, my starving (& lazy) friends and I decided that the easiest way to feed 16 people was to get some pizza delivered. We grabbed the info binder on the coffee table and chose Jiffy's because it was the only ad that said "Delivery".

When we placed our order over the phone, the man told us that his driver had not shown up to work yet, so our pizza would probably arrive in an hour. Fine with us. We start drinking to pass the time. One hour and 15 minutes passes and still no food. We call Jiffy's again, and the same man informs us that his driver has still not shown up for work. He didn't say when he would be coming in, but he did tell us "Don't tip him."

Had we known that it would have been like this, we would have went to pick up the pizza ourselves. Unfortunately, all of us were pretty drunk, so driving was out of the question. Finally after 2 hours (2:00PM), pizza guy shows up. He is unremorseful and offers no explanation about why we had to wait for so long. In fact, he said that he wasn't scheduled for work until 1:30PM. What.... who is telling the truth?

WHATEVER. Just give us the food because we are starving.

The pizzas are okay, but certainly not worth the $20 price tag. What's even worse is that all of the pizzas were incredibly burnt. I'm guessing that they were in the oven for a really long time to be kept warm since the driver wasn't there yet. I had to submerge my slices into ranch to mask the taste of the burnt crust.

Though I am sure that this was a situation where everything that could go wrong, did go wrong, I will not order from Jiffy's again. I felt like there must have been something that the manager could have done to alleviate the situation. Although we weren't expecting free pizza, I think that it would have been nice had he offered some sort of discount or something...

We found this place while looking for another pizza restaurant.  It's not pretty, but the pizza is terrific. Jiffy's is very small with only three tables, but is you are looking for take-out pizza or pizza for delivery...you can't beat it.  We got a large special pizza with lots of stuff on it.  The employees were polite and worked quickly, even though they were very busy.  This is a must-try place.

You know what, this is a regular old get-your-pizza-here place, and it makes good pizza. The guys were nice, the pizza was pretty fast and pretty tasty.

We ordered it to go and waited about 10 minutes or so for it to cook. However long it took, it was reasonable.

Got a veggie and a meat pie: thin crust, decent toppings. All in all, we were happy. I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to go here, but if you are staying nearby I recommend it.

Great thin crust pizza.  Really enjoyed the buffalo chicken pizza.  The spice and blue cheese together was awesome.  Generous on the toppings, and good sauce.

Delivery was fast, even on a saturday night during a major snowstorm.  Saved us from venturing out in the storm ourselves!  We will definitely order again.

Best pizza around. The thin crust is amazing and the wings are great too. You can make any kind of pizza you want! They are usually quick and super friendly. They also have great deals for locals. Go jiffys!!!

Be careful of deliveries from Jiffy's.  The guy who delivered the pizza also gave me a strong dose of his discontent and then yelled at me as I gave him a top.

Easily the best pizza in Lake Tahoe (get the combo) but good god there pizza is expensive. They deliver, which is nice, but it's hard for me to justify so much money for PIZZA.

A bunch of stoner guys work here it seems but they're all super friendly and they've gotten my order right every time.

Came up here this weekend and was craving some Pizza and decided to give Jiffy's a chance since it was so close. Well you all got my vote awesome pizza. The guys in this place so chill, I like places and people who keep it simple and chill. Service was great pizza just as great. Like Karen said it was "crunchy" but I like it like that from that type of pizza. When I come up this way from now on and am craving some Pizza Jiffy's is where I'm coming. It is very small and a hole in the wall and I say that in the best way possible cause I love places like that.

Closest ill get to Slice of NY out here in the boonies. All the guys there are super nice and relaxed. Its tiny inside but the atmosphere is welcoming and calm.

I loved the fact that they do thin crust here. It's tasty amazing like Slice of NY out in San Jose just a little but greasier. The only thing I didn't really like as much in comparison is that it was too baked/ crunchy in order to fold for eating. Simply a must in my thin crust book ;)

Still I like coming into a place where all the boys are chill and make me tasty food. Ill definitely make this one of my regular spots for this area.

We've been ordering from Jiffy's for years, and it's our expert opinion that they offer the best delivery pizza in the North Tahoe area. Certainly better than any chain pizza joint.

Be sure to grab a side of garlic chips, they are straight-up money. If you aren't willing to venture out into the cold, this place is a great alternative to cooking.

Ok...you have to know what you are getting here.  This is a pizza to go place.  If you want to sit down and eat you can, but it is as bare bones as it gets.  Do yourself a favor and take the pie home or across the street to the beach.  The pizza is the best on the north shore.  If anyone knows better please let me know.  We get pizza here every year at least twice when we stay.  Yes, the employees are stoners....so what.  The pizza is fantastic, especially the ground sausage.

Every time I come to Tahoe Vista (every June, July and August for the past 7 years) I order Jiffy's for the first night. I love this place. Great food, Calzones are huge and tasty, the pizza is always delicious.

Jiffy definitely deserves more than the 2 1/2 stars it is receiving here on Yelp. We did take out from Jiffy's twice during our stay and really liked the pizza! We didn't like the quality of chicken that they used when we ordered it on our pizza the first time, but all we had to do was pick it off and enjoyed the other toppings. I don't know why I order chicken on pizza because 99.9% of the time it's spongy and not good. Lesson learned.

They use 100% mozzarella which is nice, the workers were super friendly and the pizza is really good. The sauce and crust are both great and you will not be disappointed if you like thinner crusted pizza. We did not try the thick crust pizza.. We will definitely continue to frequent this place on future trips to Tahoe.

    Came here 2009/10/04.

We were unsure of this place having read Yelp reviews before going, but we're glad we went.  The staff were much more competent than they are made out to be in the other reviews.

Our medium combo pizza was just under $20 and was very tasty and filling.  Look at the picture I uploaded and you can see that they heaped the toppings on.

$20 for a medium pizza is a bit expensive, but compared to the prices of nearby restaurants having a meal that costs ten dollars a person was great.

If you come here on a cold day, bring a coat or a sweater.  They don't heat their dining room.

Ok, a friend wanted salad.  so we decided to head to this place.  There was a sign that it was voted Best Pizza for 2007 or something like that.  Anyways, we go in and the eating area didn't really look like an eating area.  It was way too small and cramped. Also the workers looked like they were a bunch of potheads still in highschool.

So we decided to take our order of a pie and salad to go.  We waited forever and the hubby started chit chatting with some of the employees and their friends outside as we waited for our order.  All of a sudden the owner came out of no where and started yelling at one of the boys.  "hey, you the new kid, get to work, there's always something to do."  My hubby came back to the truck kinda giggly. He said this is the biggest group of stoners he came across since he was in highschool.  One guy was so slow, it took him about a min to respond to a question.

I don't like stoners my pizza unless they make it hella fat...like they were going to eat it after having the munchies.  Unfortunately, my pizza was puny and not too tasty.  However my friend said the salad was really tasty.

Also, we waited a long time for the pizza.  Apparently our pizza was ready but they never called our name. lame.

Man this place is a fucking dive. I don't know if I can remember much of what the pizza tasted like because the space was pretty plain and the kitchen was blaring the weirdest music with lyrics talking about "Catholic school girl sluts". 2 stars for the entertainment factor but I don't think it's something I'd do more than this once.
