Jocko's Steak House

First, don't confuse this place for Morton's, Ruth Cris,  Flemmings or The Hitching Post.. However, for the price and the ambiance it exceeds those places. Come as you are, in jeans or whatever. Order the small stewart (rib eye)  steak for around $22 as unless you play in the NFL you will be taking home a doggie back if you order the large one. No extra charge for a potato, salad or limited dessert menu. Most of the time the steak is to your order and tender but we have on rare occasion cought a tough piece.

Short and sweet, the best steaks we've had in our lives. Waiting in line an hour or more sucks, but it's at least interesting to talk to people that have travelled up to 200 miles just to eat here. The steaks are that good.

I love steak. I 've been to all the steak houses around here and Jocko's takes the cake. Huge portions, great food, decent prices and an all around good time. I grew up here in the central coast and this is by far the best. Give it a shot! But, MAKE SURE TO GET RESERVATIONS! I've eaten here a few times without it, and the place get's packed reallllly quick!
