Joel's Front Yard Steak House

Despite some Luke warm Yelp reviews I decided to stop at this restaurant as it is an easy off and on to the NYS T'way on my way across NYS and glad I did. My prone rib was perfect and huge. Service could not have been better. And the price was right. What more could a diner want?!

This was our first time here. Server was not very personable at all.  I had the French onion soup that was good & the petit prime rib. The prime rib was okay a little dry. I can't say I would rush back here anytime.

Joel's has been a popular destination for good food & drinks for years. But recently the service and food seems inconsistent. The carousel is gone, but the building clearly needs some major updating. Very little air movement in the dining room, furniture is outdated, food is mediocre at best. With all the business from Turning Stone Casino, the owners need to spend some money. Dinner prices are over-priced for the entrees that are not 3 or 4-star meals.
