Marshall is not fancy, and neither are the restaurants. Â Joe's by far has the best pizza in town. Â The antipasto salad is also excellent. Â Patio appears inviting, except it's always filled with smokers and the tables out there are too tiny to eat on. Â We've always had good service and good food.
Review Source:Nothin special here. Â We stopped on the way back from a hike in West Virginia, and shared a large Joe's Special - a supreme basically. Â It was fine, as were the onion rings. Â My wife noted that the toppings were definitely canned (doesn't bother me but I have a food snob on my hands here). Â They did have Fat Tire on tap which is pretty freaking sweet.
Inside was super dark and depressing, and the patio looked great. Â Only problem - my wife is pregnant and there was a guy smoking like a chimney out back. Â Oh well.
If I was in the area, and I needed some pizza like now, I might stop again.
Pretty good pizza, fast for carry-out and reasonably priced. Â We usually call ahead with our order and by the time we get there 20 minutes later, our food is ready to go. Â They also have decent spaghetti and meatballs. Â Nice staff- my friend hadn't been in for years, but one waitress remembered not only her face but even her name from years ago... that's great customer service!
