I gave 4 stars based on pizza.  sherill has some pizza joints that are at least as good.  I just had a sub there and was disappointed.  good bread.  best in Norwich/sherburne area.  toppings?  small selection and skimpy.  so if you want to eat there, stick to the pizza and wings and you have a great time.

Grew up between Oxford and Sherburne. Ate a lot of Joes in high school in Sherburne. It has been a few years since eating their pizza. The memories I have are of a rather greasy cheese pizza. Well I ordered a meatball pizza to go today and was quite impressed! Meatball was extremely tasty and not very greasy at all. To top it off the girl that cashed me out opened the box and made sure I was satisfied with how the pizza looked before I paid!

I have yet to find pizza anywhere in the U.S. as good as Joe's pizza.  I've been to lots of pizzeria's in Manhattan and nearby cities.  I spent four years living in a upscale vacation town in New England with lots of fancy pizzerias.  Nothing compares to Joe's.

The chicken wing pizza is my favorite.
