Johnny Fries

Newest addition to the Ortley Beach Drag with this small sit down, take out establishment in an old gas station on RT 35 North.  With Ortley Beach still in complete disaray, I hope this place makes it.   As stated brand new with outside picnic tables, inside high tops.. Order at the counter and they will run your food out to you.  Free refills on fountain drinks and a large selection of bottle products as well.  

Fairly diverse menu of basic grilled sandwich items as well as old staple breakfast sandwiches etc as well.

Items tried - Over two days.

TOP OF THE LINE absolute winner the Burger. Juicy, larger, tasty and simply a great piece of meat.

Boardwalk Style cheese steak was your sliced rib eye on fresh Italian bread also a winner.

Full ribeye 1/4 thick was Ok but not spectacular.

Italian hot do no pizza bread and they use their fresh cut french fries for the potatoes filler but was pretty darn god.

Philly  chicken was probably one of the best I have ever had.

Onion rings home made and really good, though fries were good they weren't spectacular.

All and all a very solid if not close to spectacular new addition to the neighborhood and I wish them well...

So nice to see a new place in Ortley Beach!!  I've only been for breakfast so far and it was great!  Great bacon/egg/cheese sandwiches.....comes with coffee.....outdoor picnic tables for eating.  Great addition to Ortley!

Tasty burgers and great Johnny's classic fries, ordered the small fry and by gollie it could of been a large! Great burger joint in Ortley Beach!
