This is our second visit and there won't be a third. Â Its really hit or miss. They need to retaste all of their recipes and ditch the flavorless ones which seem to be most of them.
Miss:
Bread had less texture than wonder bread
Mushroom white cream sauce had NO flavor
Lettuce in salad was a little past prime
Creamy tomato sauce was boring
Broccoli was WAY over cooked, they should be ashamed
Hit:
Pesto Genovese was really tasty
Greek salad dressing was good
Fresh baked bread was nice, too bad it wasn't better bread
So for four meals ordered we had one hit. I can make much better at home or in the hotel rooms microwave.
I love the spaghetti shed. I have eaten here a few times and each time it is equally delicious. Their pasta sauce is sooo good and the fresh baked bread is awesome too. The inside is nothing fancy, but I like that about  some restaurants. I think places that try and be too "fancy" comes across as cheesy. This place is exactly what you would expect from the outside. Just a comfortable family place to go and have good food. The only bad thing is I wish they opened sooner then 4pm but it is what it is. Anyways I will keep coming back and giving them business for sure.
Review Source:My husband would give this place a 5 star rating, I give it a 4 star because I am picky. Â If your hungry, and you LOOVE pasta this is the place for you. Â They also have a few meals that arent pasta such as meatloaf..I had the garden style marinara spagetti and it was chunky and very good. My husb. had the plain alfredo and he licked his plate clean with a big smile. Â They bring you a whole LOAF of hot, fresh garlic bread with a bowl of plain butter and a bowl of garlic butter. A big thank you for NOT serving those itty bitty spits of butter in the "hard to open" containers! the bread was out of this world. Â I took most of my dinner home and ate it 2 days later and still yummy! Â We were too full for dessert. Â This is a small, old fashioned style restaurant. The Italian family that owns the shed, used to own a sugaring business, then it was a breakfast restr. now the spagetti shed..The history is in the menu..This is not a fancy place, its a spagetti house! family run business. Nothing fancy! just bring your appetites and your wallets and sit down and just enjoy the food! Its that simple..
Review Source:The main crowd at The Spaghetti Shed seems to be families on their way to/from Story Land. I think we were the only young couple without kids there on a Saturday night. But the food is good. The atmosphere is casual and completely unpretentious! The wait was long. They told us it'd be a 20-25 min wait, and it was a little more, but it was a whole hour before we got food on our tables. You can easily fill up on the loaf of fresh baked bread that they bring to you with your meal, so it's almost not worth getting an appetizer. I kind of regretted that. But the salad was great, because they bring you 4 kinds of dressing, and they were all really nicely flavored. The bread also came with garlic butter that was so good that I took it home to use on something else!
I got the Spaghetti Potpouri, which is a huge plate (2 meals worth for me) of spaghetti with 3 different sauces. I substituted out the meat sauce for another, and it was nice they were able to do that. None of the sauces were incredible, but the whole experience and the variety was nice. The pasta was just basic white spaghetti, cooked to perfection.
This is a very home-style place, with great recipes. If you're looking for a low-key place to eat, try it. Just be prepared to wait, and don't expect anything fancy. It's less than a 10 min drive from the center of North Conway, maybe 5 miles on 302.
This place is awesome! Â I was introduced to it years ago when I went camping with some family friends, as they make it a part of their yearly camping trip. Â And I instantly fell in love! Â It's a small, cozy, family pasta place. Â The menu is simple, but good! Â I took my husband here when we went up a year ago, as he loves Italian food, and is hard to please when dining out. Â And he loved it as well! Â We went one night when everyone was at home watching the Pats game, and the woman who was our waitress was very nice and gave my husband updates, and a little boy who was there (her son? Owner's son?) was really cute and was very excited that we were from Boston, because he was really into the Pats game and wanted to share his excitement. Â The food was very good! Â My husband had the lasagna, and he said it was one of the best he'd ever had. Â And I love their garlic butter! Â We can't wait to be back in the area to go back again!
Review Source:We went to the Spaghetti Shed to have a quick meal, hoping to please two families with young kids. Let me start by saying we will NEVER go back. The service was fine, but the food was mediocre at best. I ordered fettucine alfredo with chicken and broccoli. The broccoli looked like it came from a frozen bag, and the chicken may have, too - it was disgusting bits of something that tasted so bad I had to empty it all off my plate and only eat the spaghetti - something I never do.
The worst part of the experience - we sat beside the kitchen, only to see repeatedly that the butter bowls being cleared from people's tables were being recycled into a large container in the kitchen to be redistributed to other patrons or used in preparing various meals rather than thrown away. Yuck! My son got violently ill two hours after eating that night, we believe due to the food he had at the Shed. If you're looking for a quick way to satisfy a young family in Bartlett, there are many other options to choose from that won't make you sick. Avoid the Spaghetti Shed!
Small Italian eatery along rt 302, 2 miles down from the intersection of 302 and 16. Â Storyland is just around the corner on rt 16.
Decent family place, very kid friendly. The food is kid friendly as well. Most items on the menu consists of pasta (spaghetti) with some type of meat or vegetarian fair topped with your choice of House(meat and veggies), meat, or Mariana sauce. Sauce is "topped" on the pasta, and not cooked with the pasta in the pan, again, something more kids friendly.
Fresh loaf of bread on every table, with salted butter or garlic infused butter.
Kids menu available, two sizes available for most orders, the shed, or 2 car garage size. I had the shed, and It was filling. It looks like you can really stuff your face with the 2 car.
My family and I were looking for a simple, good, family meal. The spaghetti shed delivered! They have two sizes, the Shed and the Two Car Garage. You get your choice of sauce with the pasta (kept simple by being spaghetti) and it was delicouse. I had the bolognese and it was thick, meaty, and had a very nice sweet sausage on top. My kids had ravioli with a nice tomato sauce, and my wife had a different tomato based sauce which she liked. Before the meal the waitress brought over a hot, large, loaf of bread and two butters. One was a garlic butter with visible chunks of garlic. I was very happy with the meal, and I was all served at an affordable price.
