Good Food.  Rushed service.  I'm not normally asked if I want desert before I'm half way into the main course.  When I said  I don't think so,,, I got the check.  Let's just call it "rushed service"

2 stars only because the service was friendly and trying their best despite a woeful kitchen performance. They claim to be the "Restaurant of the Year" (for the past 3 years). It must be a self bestowed title. Requested O&V with salad. Was given nearly empty bottles off the kitchen shelf, apparently they do not have sufficient serving vessels. Waitress returned after taking orders to inform us that they were out of backed potatoes (@6:00 pm on Saturday, really?). Substituted the loaded mashed potatoes.  The microwave job on what tasted to be instant potatoes was disgusting.  The Ribeye ordered medium-rare came out well done. Had to request steak sauce and that didn't even help, as if it really could. Certainly a waste of $200 for me and my family.

Appropriate wait time for a Saturday night...server was excellent -- stayed on top of every aspect of our meal (drinks, removing finished plates, etc.)...Prime Rib was very good...salad was very good...honey-butter croissant was excellent....prices are reasonable.
Overall thumbs up on this location. (there is also a downtown Anderson location)

Went down to Ram Cat alley and visited JPeters as locals seem to say its good.

The bar is awesome if you want to go there to watch a game. Very large bar with plenty of tv's.

We sat down right away, I ordered the 1 rack of ribs with a loaded baked potato. Came with a side salad which was almost a meal in itself. For 16.99 that meal was pretty damn worth it. The ribs fell right off the bone and the salad was amazing.

Everyone else got the JPeters salad which seemed like a large version of my salad with a few extras on it. You would easily be able to split that salad with someone and always have room for dessert.

Overall this is one of the better places in Seneca. Would definitely go back.

What year is this? 1980? Who still allows smoking in restaurants? We left immediately.  It is super smokey.  Go here for a sweet load of lung cancer.

JPeters has a very good reputation over all - but this one is not so good for their average.

This one is called JPeters Interstate and is just so-so. The JPeters Original in downtown Anderson is excellent, as is the JPeters Metro on Woodruff Road in Greenville.

At JPeters Interstate we had to ask for ketchup for our french fries well after the food had been delivered and the runner did not ask if we needed anything else. The club sandwich was not as nice as at the other two mentioned locations. The waiter did put on a display of "nice" just before bringing the check - interesting timing.

This review is not on food, as the host and hostess left us in the dust with call ahead seating.  The host was a douche about it too.  Typically when restaurants with good customer service mess up, they do a make good. They'll offer free drinks, or expedite the service.  Not at this restaurant, instead they give you a dumb look and a sorry you're out of luck.

My second trip to a JPeters, the first being to their newest location, Seneca, SC. My experience there led me to search out this store, conveniently located right off I-85. We were on our way back to ATL after a wonderful weekend in Beech Mountain, NC and wanted to try JPeters again. Our GPS was of no help in locating the Anderson store so we resorted to the Internet using the MyFi. We hit the place between Sunday lunch and dinner and were seated without a wait. I had to go for the JPeters salad with the house dressing again. I was much hungrier than I was during my Seneca visit, but again, couldn't eat the whole salad. My wife had the Club sandwich. The thing is so big she couldn't get her mouth opened wide enough!!!! It must have been three inches thick. With the fries, she couldn't get through half of it, despite my help. So, as most of the other reviews of JPeters note, the portions are hugh. Out waiter, Jennifer, had a big smile and seemed eager to accommodate. This is the place to go when you are really hungry!!!!!!!!
