Oh my god I love this bar drinks so cheap. People are so nice here I'll be going back often. I suggest you support your local business and give them a try. The menu has changed and gotten somewhat better,

Like to give a 2.5 but doesn't let me do that :) . Pulled pork tacos, bread pudding (AWESOME), and the decor or perhaps ambience the rest is downhill!!! But highly recommend the above aforementioned !

If you like Taco Bell go there it's better then this place. I really enjoy Mexican food and should have gotten up and left when the server asked if I wanted hard or soft tacos. Salsa comes from a can and and not even a good can. Food was cold, rice was mushy and re-fried beans I wouldn't even taste because I've seen dog vomit look more appetizing. Services, while pleasant, on a slow night I shouldn't have to ask two different people for silverware.

Went to Juan Pablos on a Wednesday night about 7:oo.  Was not crowded.  We were told we had to wait so we went to the bar to get a drink.   No one was at the bar yet it took the bartender 10 minutes to ask what we wanted.  Not friendly at all.  It was like we were a distrubance.  I had the Juan Pablo margarita.   Nothing special.  After approximately 15 minutes we were seated at a very awkward table which was in fact open when we walked in.   I ordered the fish tacos which according to our server were spicy.   They were not spicy at all but rather bland.   In fact everyone at the table agreed the the food was devoid of taste.   Very disappointed in the restaurant for their lack of friendliness and tasteless food. Should mention, however, that despite the crabby attitude of the bartenders, our server was extremely nice and but for her the whole dinner would have been a disaster.   I do not recommend it you are looking for good Mexican food.

Went to Juan Pablo's with 7 other friend while in Wildwood for the weekend and .. I was disappointed! We only had enough time to have 1 round of drinks because the bartender said they were closing early, it was not even MIDNIGHT ! He said there was no business and just began cleaning up around us until we left . Too bad, it's a cute looking place ,enjoyed the outdoor seating but that's about it. Drinks were ehhh..so-so nothing really special about the Margaritas.

Drinks were good but over priced and I watched the bartender replace the ingredients with cheaper versions. Bartender was extremely rude, when he split our bill he did it wrong and tried to make it seem like it was our fault. Rather then fix the mistake he told us to just sign it and I will have to owe my friend later. I would not suggest going there.

This was our first trip to this establishment, for lunch and we were all very happy! The service and management were absolutely wonderful...they all go above and beyond to make sure your happy and satisfied!  The food was very good, and a very nice assortment...prices were very fair!  Only thing that would make it better were a bit more comfortable booths and a childrens menu!!

Came across this place in Wildwood as we were looking for some place to eat and have some drinks. Most of us had the quesadilla (I had chicken while they had cheese). Probably one of the best I ever had...the tortilla was crisp and not soft, and it had shredded chicken and jalapenos. I had a Tango Mango margarita which was pretty good. We had an issue with our check (I'm not even sure what happened....apparently they charged my card for my portion then charged my cousin for her portion, plus the tip and tax and even added an additional $7). We finally got it sorted out (after speaking with the manager) but it was quite confusing. But I would still go back when I visit Wildwood just for the quesadilla :).

Been going here off and on ever since it opened. I usually go here with friends. Service is decent in the summer but because it is so dead in the winter, how much more lacking can it get during that time. We usually have a pretty good time whether we're eating at table or seated at the bar.

The menu has changed and gotten somewhat better, but in a way it still the same. Most things are a little over priced (I live in Washington DC now and I could get the same enchiladas on Capital Hill during dinner time for less) which may or may not match up that well depending on what you order. Still, it's worth a try.

Ambiance is low lit and sometimes noisy. I've never really sat outside before, but it's probably quieter there because inside is nothing but music and families during the day.

Not bad. Good drinks. Overpriced everything. Pretentious bartenders and slow kitchen but if you need Mexican you don't have many other choices.

We went here in November and ordered food for six. There were two other people in there sitting at the bar and it still took close to two hours for the food. Enough said

Margarita Bar? Um, no.  If you go wanting a margarita bar you will be disappointed.  If you go wanting a bar, you will probably enjoy yourself.  Think of this restaurant as more of a bar that just happened to decide that they should serve mexican food.  We went for dinner/happy hour and had a nice time.  The server was very nice and attentive.  She gave us happy hour prices on our drinks even though we came in right at the cut-off.  They have hard cider on tap - which no one ever has and I love.  So I ate nachos, drank cider, and watched the MLB playoffs on tv.  It was great.  I would definitely go back.  But my wife's margarita was not very good - it had a weird gummy worm in it...

I might actually go 3.5 here but the son of the owner was very accomodating and helpful, and the food was very good.

Recently hosted my brother's rehearsal dinner here. They have a semi-private area that will hold approximately 40 people. The required a 25% deposit approximately 3 months prior to the date, another 25% paid within a month and then the balance due at the end of the night. It was a little frustrating getting ahold of and paying via credit card over the phone (I live in Seattle) and I only recieved a receipt of payment on the first deposit, not on the second one, even though when it came time to pay the bill the balance due reflected the second payment (and I had verifed a payment made on my bank statement).

Dinner was a fixed price per head for a set menu which included: 1 alcoholic beverage, unlimited non-alcoholic beverages, unlimited chips and salsa, a wide variety of appetizers, salad, and 3-4 entree choices. The price per head was fairly decent ~$20-25 per person.

We'd chosen this place because our side of the family is predominantly from Texas (specifically San Antonio) and this place does a good job of cooking up a good Mexican flavored meal. Much more authentic than many Mexican places that I've encountered in the northern states.

The service for this event was very good - water stayed full the entire time. Food service started a little slow but then reinforcements were brought in and and the service picked up and stayed very good the rest of the evening.

Overall one of the better rehearsal dinner's that I've been a part of (this was my 5th).

Service was soooo slow, we ordered quesadillas, a salad, and mole chicken. The mole chicken was basically pacd salsa poured on chicken, so obviously the cook had no idea what mole actually is. The drinks are overpriced, and probably had one of the worst restaurant experiences ever.

It was "good", the atmosphere was --eh. Nothing above and beyond. We had a family of 4 there, 2 of which we adults... one drink each, and the bill was over a 100. Not worthy of that kind of money, at all.

Food is good, prices are fair except for the $10 margarita. Perfect for kids. I would recommend it.

The service was a bit slow, and I thought that it was odd since we were one of 4 tables seated at the time (3:45 PM).  We ordered Margarita's and they were large, tasty, but a little expensive at just under $10 each.  I think they were a little on the weak side with too much mix/ice/garnish and a too little alcohol given the size and cost of the drink.  The tortilla chips they brought out were above average, and the salsa dip was thicker than that watery, diced tomato stuff you get at other places.  It had a nice hearty roasted pepper taste.  The steak fajita entree I ordered came out with a diverse selection of vegetables which, along with the standard sauteed peppers/onions, lettuce, & tomato also had black olive rings, and chili peppers.  The amount of steak I received was laughable for a $17 entree.  The little skillet they brought out with the peppers, onions and steak was LOADED with peppers and onions, but there was only enough for 1 thin strip of steak per tortilla.  The steak I did get was also a little burnt.  Believe it or not, after piecing it all together it 'good', but not not the 'great' rating it could have been if there were a few more strips of steak.  The rice and re-fried beans it came with on the side were bland and tasteless, but everywhere I go I think the same thing, so don't take my word for it.  The staff was very friendly.  In summary, I'd probably give this place another shot someday, but with all the other great choices on the island I'm not going to rush back.
