Down-home breakfast and brunch joint. Cash only. Makes the kind of food you'd make at home, if you had the time or inclination. Good coffee, tasty meal, responsive service. Would be 5 star if they took cards for payment and if they had Tabasco sauce. But both of those things are personal preferences.
Review Source:The Pancakes, oh the pancakes. One would think that they couldn't get any better (considering that one cannot see the plate underneath one of them), but then one sees that the butter comes in a squirt container... yeah, liquid butter. I know it's horrible, but for me it's home (the Midwest) and this is the best breakfast diner I have ever come across. I love that the waitresses have all been here for eons and that they sell homemade potholders and dishtowels in the pie/cake display case. It's only open until 2pm and it is always busy, so plan on having a little wait.
