La Fiesta

LOVE this place.  The food is great, the portions are good size, the service is excellent and friendly.  The food comes out quickly and its hot.  The selection is large.  If ylu like Mexican, you will want to eat here.  Definitely the best Mexican place around the area.

La Fiesta is a great place for "authentic" Mexican food.

The restaurant is located next to Kmart and getting there is easy. The inside of the building is clean with lots of seating (in a previous life it was a  Golden Corral I think). Outside there is plenty of parking in the well lit paved lot.

They have a substantial menu with specials on food and drink. The food is always fresh, hot and the servings are quite sufficient.

My favorite is the Juan Special which is  chicken, green bell peppers, mushrooms, and onions. They use really good flavorings and grill everything together. It is served with warm tortillas Spanish rice and re-fried beans.

My wife likes the La Fiesta burrito. This burrito is filled with beer marinated pork and is covered with picante sauce. Comes with rice and re-fried beans.

With soft drinks the above meals run a little over $25.00. Very appropriately priced.

Fast, cheap, and very good. As authentic as you could ask for in central Illinois.
