OMG, the worst service ever! Â We went Sunday night around 7pm, the restaurant was completely empty except few guys at the bar with a young female bartender. Â It took awhile for the bartender to come and take our order and, at the same time, we were served totally stale chips with salsa. Â I am Korean and most items on the menu was Korean food so I asked the waitress if she knew the items on the menu. Â She said there is no Korean waitress but we can place our order with her. Â We order few items from the menu, the bartender (young blond with horrible attitude problem) goes "ok, uh huh, ok" after each food item we order but didn't write down anything so we assumed she was memorizing our order. Â After we gave her all of our order, she then says, "you know I don't know what you ordered so can you give me the number (food is numbered in the menu) of the food you want?" Â WHY DID SHE WAIT UNTIL WE FINISHED ORDERING TO TELL US THIS???? Â Totally weird. Â Well, some of the food items we wanted was not available, service very slow, food tasted bad, Â waitress/bartender had a major attitude problem, atmosphere was horrible. Â Will never go there again. I can't imagine this place lasting too long..
Review Source:Had a very bad experience at this place.
We were there around 8 pm, and the place was empty except one table, which was a bad sign. Â A young blonde waitress brought us chips and salsa, and the chips were stale (chewy, not crispy), which was another bad sign. Â
We ordered typical Korean food -- tong dak, ddukbokee, donkatsu, and denjang jjigae. Â After a while, the waitress came back and said that they did not have the rice cakes to make ddukbokee. Â We said we would just eat the remaining 3 items. Â She then came back and said that they could not make the donkatsu either. Â In other words, they couldn't provide 2 of the 4 items we ordered. Â Instead of being apologetic, the waitress was very rude and insulting.
We said we would like to cancel the food order, and pay for the beer and leave. Â She insisted we pay for the 2 items that had not come out yet. Â We said that our children had wanted to eat the dishes that weren't available (pork cutlet and spicy rice cakes) and they didn't want to eat there anymore. Â In a very condescending voice, she said: Â "they are humans, they can eat anything." Â WTF! Â
We asked to speak to the owner, and he came out. Â He allowed us to cancel the order, but his tone was unfriendly and demeaning. Â We left vowing never to go back.
Great Find. I have now had two birthday celebrations here and both times were fun, fun, fun. Â Ice cold pitchers of Hite Beer, Korean short ribs, wings, and great chips and salsa. Â Our server (cute blonde) was attentive, and helpful. Â Most of my group is not the sports bar type but really enjoy coming here and feel welcomed. Â Oh, and the fruit plate birthday cake tasted so good on hot day. Â Thank you Jug Jug for making my B-day cool.
