Julie's Backyard Bistro

Aptly named, this restaurant was literally in Julie's backyard. Dining was by reservation only so she knew you were coming and could call you if heavy rains had caused some flooding or other adverse conditions that meant she had to close.

I loved coming here. Her recipes were her own and absolutely delicious. You know the food is fresh when you saw Julie heading out to her herb garden to pick fresh herbs. This wasn't fast food. This is where you come to relax, sip on a glass of wine and enjoy the leisurely pace as each course was brought to you.

I miss coming here since I moved and haven't found her equal yet.
