Great chicken fried steaks, mashed potatoes, fried okra and tasty squash with mouthwatering spices. Hope they open up again real soon. Just passed by tonight and sign said closed due to fire. :(

After reading all the "glowing" reviews, I am not sure what people see in this place. While on vacation, we wanted something different so we stopped here. The place was not very busy at all. Tamie took our drink order and then came back and took our food order. I opted for a hamburger and my wife opted for the Chicken and Mushrooms. I am not sure what was going on in the kitchen but it took entirely too long to get our food. The fries were cold. The hamburger was more "filler" than real meat and overcooked. The chicken breast was tiny. The only good thing was the buns seemed a little homemade. Tamie never came back to check on us or give us drink refills.

Sorry Rickster, your food quality is not up to par nor is your service.

I think if remodeled this would have gotten 5 stars, food was great, a little  old and very old booths. Need to be recovered, New flooring and a little remodeling this place would be awesome.
