Blue Marlin Saloon

I visited this hot spot about 8 years ago on a vacation to the beach and remember getting lost in the middle of the night and praying for some drive thru food because I starving, lost and knew my choices were slim. There, in the middle of the dark dreary crumbling city shone this bright array of neon lights and loud noises.

The Blue Marlin was confusing - where to park, where to go in, where to sit, how to order... but the fact they were open and bustling made me feel I had found a secret local hot spot. The waiter greeted us with a smile and took many orders of drinks and diners with no notes; he even remembered most of our names!

The food was not terribly memorable, but the aura and friendly energy sure is. I will definitely go out late when doing the beach vacation again to rediscover the Blue Marlin!
