Jack Ash's Drinkery

Typical nasty Corpus dive bar.

I'm not from Corpus so when I visit, I got tired real quick of the college crowd out at every bar and dressed like Jersey kids (gross). I finally found this place through a friend and love it.
Just a chill bar with TVs and a fantastic staff.

Was  in CC for the weekend trying to find a hole in the wall to drink where the college crowd isn't hanging out and low and behold I find Jack Ash's. The drink prices are great and the staff is friendly. What I loved most is that they had shuffle board and Karoke. Now I don't particapate in Karoke but I must say the people singing the night I went were pretty damn good. I almost forgot to mention that the DJ was also outstanding. The DJ played old school Biggie and even mixed in some Tejano and Elvis Crespo. It may seem like an odd combination but believe me it works.
