Murdock's

I play trivia every week at Murdocks (FREE on Tuesdays from 8-10ish and you win $$...for those who are interested ).

The bar has a nice atmosphere and isn't very crowded (which I like). For trivia parts of the bar are much more full than others but I always feel like I have room to breathe. Sports are usually on TV but I've seen them put up CC important events before like election debates which is nice if you are trying to choose betweeen TV or social night. Drinks are strong and the specials are good! I've noticed they have new staff recently but all my waitresses have been decently attentive (some more than others) and I'm never dissappointed there. Some of the staff are real lookers too :)

Although they don't serve food, you can always bring stuff in and Googly's (amazing pizza) delivers there for free!!

All in all a good chill place with cheap but effective drinks. What more can you want on a week night?

Stopped in at Murdock's for a Saturday afternoon drink. It was pretty empty, probably because the evening crowd hadn't shown up yet. The service was fast and friendly, the drinks were cheap, and while the ambience isn't terrific, it's a solid sports bar. If you're looking to wet your whistle and watch some football in Corpus, Murdock's is a good choice.

Good memories here. Decent bar but not my favorite or on the top 10.

It's divey but not in that cool way- just plain divey. Cheap and fun karaoke though!
