Great place to have a good time, if you don't mind drinking with a few homeless people but they are great for entertainment.  Second fave bar in DT CC.

i really like this place.  not pretentious, great waitstaff, and if you can overlook your initial impression, you're bound to have a good time :).

Not everyone knew my name when I arrived here, but I'll be damned if we all didn't know each other by the end of the night!  Even the bartender could call most of us by name, which either speaks to her great ability to multitask or our great ability to drink way too much for way too long.  A small group of us invaded this tiny place, which I don't think the lone bartender was quite prepared for on a Wednesday night.

The setup was basically a long, narrow room with a bar area to one side, a few tables & chairs on the other, a karoke stage at the end of the bar, some more tables, then a back room with a pool table.  Hello, classic dive bar!  I'm sure its shocking to know that we spent most of our time near the bar or on stage.  Still, the place was not upscale or really kept that clean.  *shrug*  If we wanted that, we could have gone elsewhere, so we stuck around anyway.  

The drinks were continuous and especially strong, yay!  A good dive bar is nothing without stout booze.  Sure, the jukebox was fun, but we needed something more... like karoke!  One of our folks persuaded the bartender to get the karoke hostess on the phone and he somehow managed to convince her to come out & see us.  Sure, she had to drive across town, but we tip well.  Little did she know what she was getting into that evening.  That is when the rowdiness began...  

Between the free-flowing alcohol and the ridiculous karoke, the night moved way too quickly.  Before we knew it, it was last call & we were pouring ourselves into cabs.  Ok, so this place is a total dive, but we had a blast.  The drinks were cheaper than some of the other bars around and karoke was ridiculous.  Thanks to the bartender for putting up with us that night & for the karoke hostess for not laughing too hard at us while we butchered some classic songs!
