Karen's Park Avenue Club

Not sure I would call it nightlife on a Wednesday night.... Seems like the kind of place to have a good crowd on the weekend and a big crowd for happy hour. There is a Firemans' homage on the wall behind the bar. Well drinks were $2.75. That's worth a star all by itself!

I adored this bar.  My partner and I went there for drinks before his high school reunion.  Pints of bud light were only $1.75 each, and you can play pool for only $0.75 per game.  Because it was a Saturday afternoon, we were the only folks playing (badly) so we were able to entertain ourselves for hours.  The service was terrific, especially when they decided at about 4 p.m. to buy a round of drinks for everyone in the bar.  We just wanted another beer, but the server was all "Are you sure?  Because I can bring you shots.  They're free!"  We declined, but I sure loved her spirit.  Karen's is a "must" for any future visits to Idaho Falls.

Great service, fun local atmosphere. The reason for the dockage is the cigarette smell. We stopped in for a drink and Karen did not disappoint. Will go back!
