Kau-Kau Koner Pub

I guess this place is cool. But only if you're with good friends who know how to have fun. It's hot as hell though, really as soon as you walk in, you're sweating bullets. I had my shirt off and they said either to put my shirt back on or get out. Also drowning in sweat (obviously) asked for a cup of water and they priced me 2$. McDonalds doesn't even charge for a small cup of water. But the only reason I give three stars is because I had no troubles there (yet) and I had a blast with my friends. GO WITH GOOD FRIENDS!!!

The building is disgusting: bathrooms overflow on a nightly basis, they drop cups on the floor and still use them, the bar is always sticky. The drinks are ridiculously overpriced: no other bar in Lakeland charges $4 for a bud light. The large amount of underage drinking leads to an obnoxious and dangerous crowd past 11:00pm. If you want a 'hole in the wall' experience, try DC's. If you want a 'club like' experience, try the Socialite or Hurricane Alley. Kau Kau Koner is an expensive waste of time.
