Kazimierz World Wine Bar

I am typically not a fan of the Scottsdale bar scene but Kazimierz in an exception.  They have a very chill environment, which is a breath of fresh air in Scottsdale.  It is a "speak easy' with the entrance located in the back.  There was multiple comfortable seating areas where my friend and I hung out for hours.  The night we went, there was live music--a local band which we enjoyed.  I love Kazimierz!

It's Christmas in July!  Who knew? Well, walk into Kazimierz and it looks like Santa threw up.  The month of July is offering up tons of Christmas celebration and all the proceeds go to charity.   This little hidden gem is actually part of Cowboy Ciao, but totally different.  If you know where the slightly hidden door is - in the alleyish portion behind the restaurant- walk on in. After your eyes adjust to the dark atmosphere, fall down into a couch, belly up to the bar, or grab a table.  There is always a weird smell outside , but don't be skurred.
Kazimierez always has live music that ranges between blues, jazz, R & B. If the band Suede is playing.. stay.  
You can order the Chopped salad from Ciao and if you haven't had it, what in the HELL is wrong with you? Get it already.
The flatbreads are always fantastic as are most of the small plates I've ordered. Pick some delicious cheese, order the hummus, or grab a desert to go with your wine.  
This is a low key and mellow atmosphere overall and when you're there you forget the blazing sun is frying everyone and everything outside.

Love the live band, wine, apps and service! Best cheese and meat plate and you can never go wrong with the chop salad. I would have given it a 5, but there is one small issue.... The high top chairs are extremely uncomfortable! We sat at two different high tops and both times the chairs were almost falling apart and rickety. That's the only complaint.
