Wow. They have revamped the place and it's really improved upon everything it lacked. The bar is roomy with booths for sitting and dining. The staff are all pretty and handsome with a welcome attitude. The whole feel of the place has changed to an upscale eat-drink joint. I'm impressed. If your in the neighborhood it's worth checking out.
Review Source:I was so glad to find this place nearby when I moved to Riverdale! Â It is a regular Irish pub... well, maybe not totally "regular" as it's roomy and clean! :)
We come here regularly when we're in the mood for a burger and fries... also, you wouldn't think it, but they have DELICIOUS French Onion Soup! Â OMG. Â The garden salad isn't unique (standard iceberg, tomatoes, carrots, croutons, green peppers etc.) but it's quite large and can serve as your entree. Â The wings are delicious as are the mozzarella sticks. Â
Good, reliable bar food! Â
I've only ever seen two guys working the bar and they are both friendly.
This is the local pub from where I live and it is a great place for a nice pint or a great dinner. Â The food really is spectacular for pub grub. Â I've had the ribs, potatoe wedges, mozzarella sticks, and the irish breakfast and have no complaints on any of it. Â The ribs in particular are very well done nice and tender. Â The bartenders are all very awesome and super nice and always make you feel welcome. Â Great place on the weekends too to party at.
Review Source:A great old irish pub. The food is good (surprisingly so) and inexpensive. The bartenders are great and the place has a ton of regulars. The kitchen opens late (5pm) but stays open late (11 or so). They have the best wings in Riverdale (and I've tried wings from nearly all the local joints).
