Riverdale City Grill

Love this spot not sure how it's not more known about. It's an average layout and average decor, nothing special and nothing that grabs your eyes.

But the food is so good. they have designer chopped salads. So they bring you a xerox piece of paper with the 100 or so choices, segmented into veggies, meats and cheeses, lettuces, dressigns, etc. Then you pick your combo they mix it up in a HUGE bowl and bring it out. Oh so good. Everything always fresh and everything always good. And on your way to the restroom you can see into the kitchen, it's immaculate and someone always cutting something.

I also highly reccomend the chili. Very beefy meaty chili that's so flavorful, mmm.

Lastly service - always good but always different people. Seems staff changes frequently. But they're always mega nice and very fast and attentive.

Give it a shot, you'll love it. It's nothing you'll see on TV anytime soon ( or ever ) but it's really good and consistent, worth the stop in - if you're in the hood.

Second time my friend and I came here - first  time for drinks (at the bar) -bartender is nice -with2 TV's playing sports.
Other time for dinner and food is good ! Fries as an appetizer and the chopped salads are delicious - I had the Cobb Salad (would recommend) and my friend made her own salad and was very pleased - fresh ingredients .
Only drawback is that  this is a cash only establishment - no biggy as the food and atmosphere is good  and am ATM machine is on hand.

Been coming here since they opened. The service has always been great. Jamie especially- always very sweet and attentive. The Irish nachos are to die for and the salads are amazing.. I def recommend stopping in ;)
