  Tonight, I fell on a grenade for my Yelp amigos.  
  
  When I travel, I try to have a beer at two places to get a feel for the towns I'm visiting.  Tonight: Klamath Falls, Oregon.
  
  On the recommendation of a local, I hit up King Falls, a true dive bar attached to an awful, schlocky American-Chinese restaurant next to the K-Falls "mall".  She told me it was a dive bar, but I wasn't fully prepared for a true shock-and-awe dive bar experience.  I suppose all of the stinky-hipster dives in PDX have totally altered my perception of what a dive bar is.  King Falls fixed that.
  
  Cigarette smoke you could cut with a knife, people falling down drunk (at 8pm!), and one seriously disgruntled bartender made for an experience that I won't soon forget.  If you're looking for a fight at midnight on a Wednesday, stop by King Falls.  If you're not looking for that fight and you still stop in, don't say I didn't warn you!
