I was craving catfish. Now, most people over-cook their catfish, and the batter is often sandy. This fried fish was delicious. It was seasoned perfectly and moist. The tarter sauce tasted homemade (I don't know if it was). The chips, as everyone says, were awesome. My beer could have been colder. My salad was so-so with average lettuce and an okay ranch dressing. The decor is exactly what I want in a bar on the river - grungy but clean. You gotta try it!

While visiting my SIGO (acronym for "significant other") in Quincy, IL, we dropped by Kutter's for lunch.  He ordered some kind of a big ole messy sandwich smeared with a lot of sauce and a chicken breast that hung over the edge of the bread.  I had the Walleye sandwich & together we practically inhaled the seasoned fries that came with both sammies.

My Blue Moon could've been served colder, but the service is pleasant, the price is right, and the location on the riverfront is decidedly a draw.  If you find yourself in Quincy, count on getting some pretty good pub grub here!

Typical bar and grill overlooking Mississippi river and Clat Adams park in Quincy.   Eat outside if you can.  Inside is dirty and run down.  Service was good, but waitress and manager were arguing loudly in kitchen. Two different music systems playing two different radio stations was confusing.  Food was okay - they have a large selection of  sandwiches that are good. Definitely choose the homemade chips. Their idea of "imported" beers is humorous (i.e. Sam Adams and Landshark)

Decent selection of bar foods in a not-too-attractive building on the Mississippi river front, which has had a lot of landscape improvements. My burger was well cooked and tasty, and I wouldn't mind eating there again when in the area. I wouldn't, however, take a date there.

I stumbled upon Kutters while driving around Quincy looking for some place to eat that was near the river. Loved it from start to finish. We ate at a table out on the front porch. The service was good; we never lacked a cold beer! The apps selection is good. The homemade chips were great. I also appreciated the selection of fried fish sandwiches. I had the walleye and it was pretty good. My partners burger was thick and juicy with a good grilled flavor.
Great place to relax, drink and eat a good sandwich or burger. On my next visit to Quincy I will return for a beer by the river.

Love this place. Great homemade soups. Location by the river adds interest. Lots of menu options, so far everything I've had is great.

Had a decent hamburger, but great homemade chips. Great beer specials, $1.00 bottles on Wednesday and Thursday.
