La Casa Cigars lounge

This is one of the coolest spots in Vegas.  I'm an avid live music fan and this place does it right, and four nights a week (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday).   Great ambiance, nice patio, great staff.  The cigar selection is wonderful and the bar is stocked full of great scotch as well everything else you could probably think of.  The last time I went I was with a girl that was hesitant about the smoke and whether her hair would stink the next day (women), but she said its actually well ventilated and the smoke was minimal.  La Casa is definitely a place you could find me at a few times a week.

Good selection of cigars, and reasonably priced.  

Free music is great, but way too loud to have a conversation - they need to decide if they are a dance club or a casual meeting spot.

The cocktail service is completely in shambles.  I've been there a few times now, and they let you sit with empty drink glasses forever.  The "servers" all have to make their own drinks.  Half of them have no bar tending experience at all and look at you like you have 3 head if you order anything more complicated than a beer.

Then there's the "manager".  A young woman who obviously has no service experience at all.  She knows her cigars, but spends more time smoking them than making sure her customers are taken care of.  I asked her 3 times about the membership, but she was too busy sitting outside smoking a cigar to even hand me the paperwork.  

All in all, not the kind of place I would chose to spend my time or money.

Great feel to this place.  I have been here twice. The prices may be on the high side (cigars $3-4 over retail) and the straight pours are a little short.  The friendly staff and the overall  set up make this is a very enjoyable location.  I will certainly come back again.
