The Landing

The Landing is consistently quality.  From monthly wine/beers tastings, to the daily specials and dinner service you can't go wrong.  I have probably tried most items on the menu and have never had a complaint. The best appetizer is the salmon naan. I could eat like 12 of them. The nacho platter is HUGE and delicious as well. Everything is great! Lots of choices for beer and wine, not to mention the view of the river when sitting out on the patio. Finally a quality restaurant in Yankton.

Staff was outstanding, food not so much.  Pricey and dicey is not what a restaurant is about.  Ate there twice one time great, next time very disappointing.   I feel terrible doing negative reviews but really for the money and my interest in keeping the Yankton SD economy going, not a good investment.

Tasteful ambience but left a bad taste in my mouth.

Wow! I was really surprised to find this diamond in the rough. We moved here from California and all but gave up on finding a good place to eat that actually cared about the food they put in front of their customers. Not only did they have awesome food, they had a huge beer and wine selection. The staff was fantastic! Really knowledgeable and really nice!, The head Chef Scott, even came out to make sure we were happy with everything. These are the little touches that keep us coming back.  We've been here at least once a week and have tried a few dishes and appetizers (all great). I can't even suggest something to try because it's all really good. I can't wait to try it all. I think my favorite thing is that it's more of an adult atmosphere.
All in all, my favorite place since we moved here. Keep it up, and thank you!
