Minerva's Grill & Bar

Nice warm building a 0 degrees tonight.
Since I was by myself I sat at one of the bar tables. Comfortable as such.

For some reason the happy hour only covers draft beers. In my opinion if you are going to have a happy hour then have a happy hour.
Unfortunately there was only one mediocre IPA from Colorado offered. Everything else was just the run of the mill beer. Nothing special. With all the great micro brews out there it does not take much effort to offer a better selection.

One star for beer selection

I ordered the Beef Tip Gorgonzola Salad and was very disappointed.

The iceberg lettuce mixed with some other greens was just fair, no thought process here. Some of the Lettuce had a funny smell, too close to fish or something. The beef tips were inconsistent some tough some tender.

I have included a link to a great salad so easy to make a good one.

The bread, what little I received must have come from a grocery store. White and boring.

Bottom line is that this restaurant needs to step up its game.

Happy hour deals! $5 nachos and cheap wings. Service was great, too.
