This past Sunday I ventured out to Freeport to check out the bar/restaurant scene in the Nautical Mile area with my boyfriend. I had been hoping to check out Landshark since the last time I was in the area it looked like the place to be.

Once we got there we asked one of the waitresses if we could sit in the outside dining area. There were a couple of tables set up, as well as a lounge section with a couple of deck/patio chairs and table. It was a nice set up and we immediately went to the lounge section to relax & enjoy some food and drinks.

I ordered the Miami Vice (1/2 daiquiri 1/2 pina colada)  and it was good. The drink was actually overflowing, which is always a plus. My boyfriend ordered the Shock Top beer, which I ended up ordering later on, as well, and very much enjoyed.

I think the menu was full of fun & exciting items, mostly seafood, which I LOVED. I ordered the Crabcake platter, while the boyfriend had the beer battered shrimp platter. You don't get a bucket of shrimp FYI. It's more like a decent portion of 5 shrimp with fries. The crabcake was amazing & I struggled in order to attempt to eat both. They were huge & deliciously seasoned, which reassured me I had gotten my money's worth.

Overall, the bar area is usually packed, but I think it has to do with the live music playing and the fact that it is right by the start/end of the Nautical Mile. If you want to get some cheap drinks ($3 Landshark beer special every day), enjoy some good music, & drink outdoors then this is definitely the place to come check out, especially with a big group of friends.

My family took me here for Mother's Day; hated it.  The menu was limited.  I eat everything under the sun and I still had a hard time finding something to eat on that skimpy menu.  I finally settled on the muscles in cream sauce and the muscles were small and under coooked.  Horrendous isn't even the word.

The space was cramped as well.  Not the nicest spot to eat on the Nautical Mile.
