LAVA Hookah Lounge

What planet did I walk into?  Apparently one where its ok to wear fake police badges, sell drugs and where 16 year olds can openly drink with no repercussions.  The couches have been burnt countless times by ash, whether it's from the hookah or the cigarettes the 16 year olds were smoking is for you to decide.  I'm pretty sure they don't want customers as they charge a cover and then $20 for a hookah.  We ordered Cherry flavored hookah, and when we received it, were pleased with the taste.  The guy preparing the hookah told us later, "I'm sorry we didn't have any strawberry, I have you fruit sensation instead."  Hmmm.   They seemed to have never had anyone order a tea off their menu, leading me to believe the place is a cover for a drug operation.  Further proof came after we presented them with a Yelp voucher, and they again had no idea (even the owner) what it was or where it came from.  If hanging out with wannabe thugs and druggies while smoking hookah is your thing, then I strongly recommend you go here.  Otherwise please don't step foot in this place.  I'd give it 0 stars if possible.

Service is great.  Workers are very good about tending to the hookah.  Nice comfy couches to lounge and smoke.  Great atmosphere with 4 large screen tvs.  They also feature live DJs.  Prices are very reasonable.  Definitely a step up from the competition in the area.

This place just opened and i tried it out the other night. Went there with a group of friends and, except for a few minor things, had a great time. the couches were super comfy, which isnt always the case at other Hookah bars. they also had space to cater to my group of 8, which also seems to be a problem at many places. the decor was nice, but lacking something, hopefully they can spruce it up a little. the owners/employees we nice and out-going as well. Lastly, the hookah: not a HUGE flavor selection but that being said they we well prepared and well tended by the staff, leading to an enjoyable experience. i will go back im sure.
