I want to give Le Club 5 stars because of the location, the service and over all experience.  I am only giving it three simply because our first experience was on 4th of July weekend where a bunch of families decided it was there own personal pool and transformed an other wise chic retreat into romper room.  The food, the service, the view and the wine were all above and beyond expectations. However, for $50 entrance fee, plus food and beverages which are not cheap, you would expect some sort of decorum. What I witnessed was the lowest denominator of the human race.  People actually brought coolers of mixed drinks and their own liquor.  To beat the system, they each order one drink, keep the glass and proceed to refresh it with their own supplies.  Really? Is this what we have come to? If you don't want to utilize the facilities and its services, do me a favor, rent a shore house with a pool and romp around there.  Le Club is not the place for this and was a disappointment for that reason.  You ruined an otherwise great birthday present from my husband.

I went here during the day on a Saturday so I have no idea what this place is like at night. I've heard you can expect to wait a while to pay a hefty cover charge before getting in while watching guys roll up in Lambos and Ferraris cut the line and get in before you. Apparently you don't get the same treatment if you drive a Ford like me.

Even during the day they were charging $4 for a can of Bud Light, $7 for a can of Amstel and $10 for mixed drinks served maybe in 10 oz cups. There's no place to sit during the day and I'm sure that goes for the night crowd as well. The music was pretty relaxing and the sound quality was great.

I'm sure this place gets wild at night. But I don't think I'll be going back to find out.

Just to clarify, this review is for the Beach and Pool Club "Le Club" which is owned by the same people as the restaurant and nightclub "Avenue", and whom also own the Bungalow Hotel.

This is a private club, which allows guests of the Bungalow Hotel, among certain other people, to use their facilities.  It features many of the traditional Beach Club offerings, including Lounge Chairs, Umbrellas, Day Beds, and Cabanas, which are equipped with Showers, changing areas, table, television, etc.

The staff was abundant and very hospitable.  Very friendly and helpful.  The drinks and food were excellent.  The were several places on the beach inside the club where you could rinse off some sand, or get the additional shade of a palm tree.  The locker rooms were beautiful and seemed brand new. I didn't have a look at the roof-top pool, but,  I've stayed at the Bungalow Hotel, and had dinner at Avenue (both were excellent) and I'm sure the pool is of the same caliber.

My only complaint would be that this club does not extend down to the water, as I have seen some other private clubs do - A minor price to pay for a day in the lap of luxury.

    Nicely done!
