  They have a "kitchen" that's within line-of-sight of the entire establishment, at the end of bar. It's flat-top grill and a microwave. If you don't take one look at that and think 'This food will only taste good if I'm drunk", you're either really young or really naive. Sorry Amy, I think you gotta little growing up to do. All towns have bars like this.
  
  This is where the locals come to get away from the never-ending stream of tourists marching through their town... and make no mistake, I am every bit a tourist, but I know a local bar when I see one.
  
  Come here to drink on budget, come here to mingle with the local color, come here to eat the "up north" version of Taco Bell or White Castle... it's all about expectations, and if you're not paying much, don't expect much... ya dig?

  This place is b*llshit. $6 each for a crappy frozen burger patty, and $4.50 for "nachos" that were about the cheapest broken yellow and stale corn chips you could get with a stingy dab of liquid orange cheese in the corner. I know it's a bar, not a restaurant, but it's also Petoskey, I expected more.If you can't do better than that then make the same burger $2.50 and the "nachos" $1.50 and I wouldn't complain.

  If you like your Jaeger cold, then this place is for you. And if you want to feel like you're in an extension of your childhood basement, then this place is for you. The bartenders are attentive, & the prices are right.
