The Library Pub

I've gone back to Library Pub at least half a dozen times.  They are great on main entree dishes (eg. steak and chicken dishes) and the mac'n'cheese is simply heavenly.  

Sweet potato fries are over seasoned.  Maybe they taste better with beer?

I was really excited to try finally try the Raspberry Walnut Chicken salad but was terribly disappointed - they just use iceberg lettuce!  HORROR.

I think I'd still enjoy going back with friends but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here.

I favor the Novi location, even though this one is newer. Not sure why, maybe because the Novi one was one of the first bars I frequented when I first turned 21...

As a bar, this place is not great. Maybe I'm spoiled by many other similar establishments offering so many craft and local beers now, but Library Pub is definitely lacking in this area. I found their beer selection to be a complete snooze. Nothing exciting or out of the ordinary on tap or by the bottle. Disappointing.

The food here is ALWAYS delicious, and their salads are surprisingly good! Every good salad needs a drippy, homemade ranch dressing to accommodate, and Library Pub has a great ranch dressing - and a decent honey mustard as well.

Overall, its roomy, with good food and OK beer and a good place to catch a game. I would also consider it to be a family friendly establishment (during appropriate hours).
