Lion's Den

When my best friend was a Penn State student (a long time ago now) and I would come up for a visit, we'd always hit the Lion's Den...and it was always GREAT.  Always great looking college women, strong drinks, great music, and the drinks were cheap.  

This isn't the old Lion's Den. Since I am not a regular in State College anymore I don't know if they are dealing with too much competition or they are trying to figure out their niche, but this place wasn't great when we were here on a Friday night of a home game weekend.  Place was pretty empty when we arrived (like REALLY empty), and after about 45 minutes we had to leave...it just wasn't my crowd as it started filling with idiots.  Drinks were cheap, but so was the alcohol.  Probably the last time I'll be in the Den...too many other places that are better.

So when i started coming here last year i though it was alright, you know i had a good time because i was with my friends but not really my crowd or anything special.

But than this year this place has really become a great tuesday spot. the $2 call its are a great deal, especially if you get there early and ask for good alcohol, they will give it. later on tho they do use very cheap alcohol but can't really expect anything different in a college town.

a lot of my friends go on tuesdays and the crowd is a lot more greek [life] so it is way fun on tuesdays. their also is no cover which is great. line can get bad sometimes but never awful.

otherwise a great place to drink and dance and hang with your friends

If you're a football player or having relations with a football player and/or a bouncer here this is your spot. If not, be prepared to wait on line until 1am while the football players and their hoes/bros enter in for free.

Once inside though it's pretty fun but it's not worth the long wait to be quite honest.
