Liquid Assets

How can you not love someplace called Liquid Assets?  With a dazzling menu that boasts such items as delectable pate and lovely cheeses, top that off with a huge assortment of terrific wines  and you have a wine bar that commands attention.  I ate until I was ready to pop and drank until I stumbled back to the hotel.  I was having such fun that I didn't want to leave.  Gotta love a bartender with a sense of humor.  

If you love good wine and good food, head here for a little, or a lot, of both.

What a nice wine bar!  The staff was incredibly friendly, it was in a good location and was a comfortable place to hang out for a couple of hours.  The food was _fantastic_ (best beef tartare I've ever had); I was really impressed at the selection of appetizers, entrees and cheese plates-- definitely more than just a wine bar.  As for the wine, they had a nice selection, although most wines were on the younger side.  But they are helpful in letting you taste until you find one you like.  Also had a decent beer and cocktail list.  Definitely a place I would visit again.

What a wonderful wine bar!  The wine list is thorough and deep, plus a full and complete bar.  (Very nice single malt selection, in particluar.)

What sets the place apart, though, are the very nice staff and the unusually robust menu for a wine bar.

We had an assortment of small plates, inculding a great butternut risotto, crab cakes, a very unusual spanish cheese plate and a great, flavorful salad.  

Can't really go wrong - wonderful atmosphere, drinks and food!
