Great food! Clean. Not expensive unless you consider $21 for food, drinks and sides!
Love the atmosphere and we drive an hour away to go. It is special for our family.
The pan cakes are literally 10 inches across and you get 3. Plan to share! And of course it is with real maple syrup :)
Lloyd's is between the North Country and New York City, and as such, we stopped ther for lunch en route. Â The restaurant stood out in the town we we passing through. Â Lunch: clam strips and a meatball soup for my dad; roast beef on toast for me. Â Dessert was pie. Â beverage was coffee.
What differentiates Lloyd's from your run-of-mill diner is that coming away from the meal we didn't feel over-fed, just well-fed. Yes, my dad's clams were a little off; but my dish was fantastic, and we both had pie which was out of this world. Â
At no other diner could one have a full meal AND dessert and NOT feel stuffed, but rather full. Lloyds accomplishes this well, and the food they serve is very tasty. I highly recommend the apple pie.
