If you are in the right mood for The Log Jam, it usually delivers. Â That is, you need to be in the mood for large plates of meat (especially the actually-quite-decent prime rib, rare of course), buttressed by a salad bar stacked to the brim with iceberg wedges and blue cheese. Â Order anything other than these, and you'll get into trouble.
Having said that, who wants to eat giant piles of meat and iceberg lettuce in July? Â Aside from someone on an Atkins diet, I mean.
Do not visit or even waste your time, outback is a much better choice, Â the only reason i give it a 2 is because they probably have good Prime Rib, it looked good and they ran out at 7pm, people seems to enjoy it. Â The salad bar is awful, no selection of any topics, the crab cakes were burnt and tasted horrible. I ordered the duck and it really was bad and rubbery, mash potatoes were very solid and not eatable at all. Â I heard this was a great restaurant before, things change do not go. Â The prices are way to high for the quality of food...
Review Source:I really liked my ruben sandwich but I really wanted more from this place.
While driving through Lake George my family and I stopped for lunch and shopping. Â The sandwich was good but the service was slow and the decor, well, beyond dated.
The three other members of my family didn't enjoy their meal as much as I did. Â I'm sure there are better spots to try.
