Longshots Sports Bar & Grill

Good late night spot for a drink and bar food. Our hockey time frequents this place when weather doesn't permit post game tailgating. A lot of TV's, pool tables, and selectoin of beer.

I moved close to this place and figured it would be a decent new sports bar to watch the Eagles games when they aren't on Maryland Cable. I went in on a Sunday afternoon for the Ravens v Steelers playoff game.

The inside is pretty old fashioned and not very nice. Their service sucked for a Sunday afternoon. Their specially priced beer was still surprisingly expensive for a crappy bar on a football day (something like $3 for domestic). I ordered their advertised ($6 pulled pork sandwich) which came on one of those crappy hamburger buns you get for like $1.25 a pack. The pulled pork was ok.. but how do you mess up pulled pork? The parking lot is dirt covered with a few small stones (lame).

The locals were annoying as h*** as always when the Ravens are on tv. A morbidly obese middle aged woman decked from head to toe in ravens gear would scream "whoooooooooo!" everytime the ravens hiked the ball. For a 1pm start, she was already wasted and looking to score, herself.

I saw they have karaoke on every Friday . Karaoke is a tradition for my gf and I so we will probably end up going here maybe once a month or so because I'm too lazy to drive somewhere farther away.

Do yourself a favor and avoid this place there are tons of better places like Duclaw, Sean Bolan's, Magerks, Looney's (Bel Air) or Green Turtle in Aberdeen.

If you're in the area and don't feel like dealing with the hassles of downtown bel air then its okay.  Its the kinda place you expect to see dollar bills tacked to the walls.  Its not my first choice but its close.
