This place could be a candidate for Gordon Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares. I can go to the gas station store next door and get better food. Don't waste your time here. I heard it used to be a good place to eat. What a shame. They are one of the few places in the city and this could be a gold mine but it's like they don't care. Maybe a good restaurant will come in and take it's place.
Review Source:For those of us who live in Eagle Mountain, it started out as a good place to go occasionally for some mexican food. Â In the past several months though it seems the quality has been slipping. Â
We were excited when it opened and the food quality, spices, presentation and service were very good. Â The prices have inched up while the quality started going down.
When we are in the mood for mexican food now we find it is worth the time to slip over to american fork and get better quality and better prices.
We have been to a few different mexican restaurants in the last couple of months and all of them had better prices, faster service, great tasting food. Â
It is sad to see this once promising restaurant sliding into oblivion ... it would not surprise me if it closes in the near future unless they make the commitment to start serving authentic, tasty, spicy food again.
Horrible. Â I have been to this place several times since it opened and every-time it gets worse. Â They have now crossed a line that I will never go back. Â They obviously don't care about what they serve. Â
Food: Â I ordered the steak burrito. Â It came in a tortilla that was hard and dry from being microwaved, no lettuce or tomato and a sauce that was disgusting to say the least. Â My kids got quesadilla and they had the same problem. Swimming in grease and dry hard tortilla. Â I can't say enough how awful the food is at this place.
Service: Absent and inattentive to say the least. Â I had to ask for a refill 3 times before I got one. Â With only one other group in the whole place (lunch rush) I am not sure why she had such a hard time.
Cost: The food is kinda cheap, but they nickel and dime you every chance they get. Â I asked for extra onions and got charged 75 cents. Â Sometimes they even charge for refills on the chips.
Avoid at all costs. Â Betos is just a few miles down the road, costs less and is WAY better.
