Good bar. Food is not.  Good decor with a nice bar but better food at home or Taco Bell.   The boneless wings were basically flavorless chicken nuggets
I ' ll try it again. But only because the bar staff is so nice.
Read another review of the same owners concept restaurant--Fords garage. They also have Firestones which I haven't tried and The Edison which is ok but not special.
Nice venue but sub par cuisine. The concept needs food to match. Easier said than done.

Food did not taste fresh at all. Fish taco smelled fishy and guacamole very bland with excessive lime. Side of beans looked like it had been reheated and tasted bland as well.

Nice decorations. But the food was inedible! I ordered the nachos for lunch and it was disgusting and tasteless. The plate was masked with orange processed cheese, this was all you could see! The menu described the nachos with beans and rice but there were hardly any beans or rice, only cheese.

I will not be revisiting Cabos

I think this place is pretty new, possibly brand new, so I'll give them a little bit of leeway as they work out their growing pains. We stopped in around Thanksgiving for food that was definitively not turkey. We were told it would be a 30 minute wait but got a text about five minutes into our walk around downtown that our table was ready.

The menu is extensive and contains both the old tex-mex standbys (chimichangas, anyone?) but also some potentially unique or inventive new options. My husband's tacos were pretty good -- he had the three taco option with one of each type of meat. My salad was a disappointment -- it was missing a few ingredients so it was really just some lettuce and shredded chicken in a bowl.

Which brings me to the growing pains -- their customer service is pretty bad. It's not that anyone's rude, in fact they're just the opposite, but it seems that maybe it's the first time anyone's waited tables. I stuck with the salad-missing-most-of-its-ingredients because I knew by that point that it would be Christmas by the time I got my fixed or new salad if I complained. I had to remind our waitress (who, to her credit, was very friendly and cheerful) a few times to bring the beer I ordered then never did get to order another. I also never saw the water I ordered and my husband eventually went inside to ask for a soda refill himself when she disappeared. We had to remind her that we needed the check then again that we needed her to take the credit card.

Be prepared for the world's most amazing (or most awful, depends who you ask) lous playlist of late-eighties early-nineties power ballads and rock standbys (Bon Jovi!) and some strange uniform of tucked in white tanks and plaid shirts tied up as crop tops.

The best thing that I can say about this restaurant was the black bean side was very good and the restaurant itself is very nice with its  sliders in the front of the restaurant that open onto the side walk. Our waiter was very pleasant but knew less about the menu than we did. Most of the food was tasteless and some of it bordered on inedible although the portions were very large.  Love Ford's Garage across the street, don't waste your time at Los Cabos. If I could have given this restaurant a negative star I would have but the review makes you give at least one star. I will never go back.

Just like Ford's Garage you can sum up Los Cabos Cantina with great decor, bad service, and mediocre (at best) food.  Go to Iguana Mia for a MUCH better meal for less.
