My kids and husband love the Nexus Laser Tag at The Lost City. Â The laser tag arena is about 5000 sq ft, has multi-levels and holds about 32 players. Â It is dark, with fog and lasers, and lots of places to hide and surprise your opponents. Â My family likes to go when they offer "Fire til' you Tire", giving you an unlimited 2 hours session for only $15. Â The only problem we have found are the over-zealous adults who don't play fair when younger kids are in there. Â (Is it really skill when you tag the six year old every time he gets re-activated?)
Our whole family, including grandma, love the newly remolded "Gobi Desert" themed Mini-Golf course. Â The artist who created this 9 hole mini gold course did a great job! Â It was very unique and fit the whole theme nicely. Â The last hole is like Plinko, it's very fun and you can win another game of golf if you are lucky. Â For only $3 per person, it is a mini-golf is great deal for the family.
The Lost City has a nice concessions stand, Â the Oasis Cafe. Â They sell individual ice cream bars, which the kids love after a long game of Laser Tag. Â They also have Coke products and other good eats. Â The prices are reasonable.
The video games are my least favorite part of The Lost City. Â They are high priced, most taking 3-4 tokens, and they are not always working correctly. Â We have had lots of trouble with the machines that should give out tickets - usually they do not work properly. Â That really makes for an angry kid and parent.
