I met some friends at The Lounge last week, for a quick drink. Â There's no doubt it's a "Dive Bar", but it had a very homey, friendly vibe to it, and we had a great time! Â The bar tenders were especially friendly, and the drink prices were good. Â I would be up for going again, maybe on a Thursday for karaoke.
Review Source:this is a dive dar, but 1 of the better ones on 6st street!! Â the lounge is a great place 2 hng out & hve a beers/drnks, Â awesome bartenders & owners, drnk specials every day. Â i thnk tht they shld hve a buck of beer 5 for $10 instead of 4 or $10, tht is jst my op ion. Â but over all it is a great plce 2 go!!
Review Source:This is what a neighborhood bar should be.... Laid back, great live music (blues and rock), friendly bartender, good vibe! First time here and I'll be back next time I'm in Corona. The owner Roxanne was a great host. She let me know that Fridays and Saturdays are live bands and Wednesdays are karaoke. The prices here are a steal!
Review Source:This is what a dive bar is all about. Cheap drinks and friendly staff.
With a good location in Corona, The Lounge, is a place everyone should visit. The Staff will make you feel like family and keep your drinks full. The bartenders are knowledgeable, often suggesting drinks you might not have otherwise tried. With daily specials and free popcorn you must visit this bar.
The only Bar open on X-mas it seemed like.
Been wanting to check it out but never got around to it until my roomate and boyfriend wanted to play pool...
this place was packed! mostly all over 50 but packed none the less
the bar tender was very sweet and the jukebox was up to date and versatile =)
Definitely going to come here again =)
I love dive bars, but I really hated this one....obvious the bouncers and bar tenders only cater to regulars, we went a while ago, and some idiot hill billy picked a fight with my husband because he swore he knew my husband and my husband was like, no dont know ya....so he got pissy and pushed him, instead of the hill billy getting kicked out for starting a fight or atleast both parties as it normally should be handled, they kicked US out for my husband defending himself. The bouncer first let us stay, but then the hill billy came back over and tried to apologize and since my husband again, wanted no part with this guy, he got pissy again, and threatened us, at that point the freaken bouncer said we had to leave, not the toothless hill billy but US. Â This place can go pound sand!
Review Source:Great neighborhood dive. I went on a Wednesday night, with a good friend, and we figured we check out a place we've never been before. I have to say, that I've never been in a neighborhood bar that was so welcoming. The regulars were very nice, and easy to strike up a conversation with. Everyone, from the owner, the bartender, and the regulars, were just so friendly. I even got a free hot dog, which was rad! The bartender was super cute too, so another plus. Good drinks, and ever better people makes this place a must go in Corona.
Review Source:Nice little dive of a place. Â I haven't been in here in 2 or 3 months (noticed that it's under New Ownership now) but hopefully things haven't changed too much. Â The bartender was a middle aged hispanic lady who was super friendly. Â her friend would always be there sitting next to her as a patron. Â Just made it more of a friendlier atmosphere. Â When I was there last a little lady walked in and sold us tamales. Â Just seems like a few friends hanging out, drinking a few beers.
Place is clean and small. Â 2 pool tables in the back, small bar, and I think there's one arcade game in there. Â Nice Digital Jukebox also that has most of the hits. Â Every time I get some breathing room, I try to stop by.
My buddy just moved to corona and we decided to check out the local bars in the area. This bar was second on our list and we were very pleased to have found this place. The bar tenders were nice/hot and they had great drink specials all day long. A bucket of domestic beers for $10 bucks and our favorite "buy any shot and get a beer for $1" !! Â This place is clean and had a couple pool tables that we played on all night. We even met the owner, a young guy our age that played pool with us the whole night. This place is great! I will be back for sure!
Review Source:I had to meet a friend in Corona and figured I'd look for a little hole in the wall to get a drink and wait for my friend to arrive. Â This was just my speed; a very casual, comfortable, no frills type of place. Â The bartender, who was quite a knockout, was extremely friendly. Â The jukebox is okay and had a decent selection of music. Â
I had to stay the night in Corona, lucky me, and the bartender, and some gal who worked across the freeway at some restaurant, recommended the Best Western Kings Inn, which is also just across the freeway. Â Anyways, the bar is cool, and the bartender was nice and helpful.
This is a neighborhood bar. Â Don't find those much anymore in the Inland Empire. Â But this most definitely is one. Â If you like joints with personality, with regulars, with reasonably priced alcoholic drinks, with mediocre upholstery and a couple pool tables, this is your joint. Â Place is boppin' on the weekends. Â There isn't a lot of room and if people are havin' fun, people can be rowdy. Â Never seen a harsh word uttered here though. Â People get along. Â It's a nice place.
