For a small town restaurant, it is very good. At lunch for 5.95, you can get a hearty portion of entree, a side salad, and all you can eat bread and dipping oil. Â The owners are a very sweet couple, and I've always had a great dining experience each time I visited. Â
I personally love the manicotti!
These people make the most amazing pizza I have ever had! I have had pizza in NYC and all across the US and this has to be the best I have ever had!! Even the traditional pepperoni is amazing. A layer of cheese covered in pepperoni covered again with cheese with the best sauce ever made and incredible doug/crust. We sometimes drive all the way from Dallas to get this pizza. Too incredible to describe in words alone!
Review Source:We were traveling & needed to eat.  We checked our handy dandy YELP to help us find a restaurant in a SMALL town in what seemed to be in the middle of no where.  Not to mention we were very unfamiliar with the area and it's local eateries.  We decided to try Luigi's since it  was rated pretty fair and not rated poorly.   It isn't fancy or comparable to big city dining (which we didn't expect) but  was good for a small town & extremely reasonable in price. I had the pizza which was good. Nothing fancy but makes your belly full and my wallet happy.  It was a nice size (10") for $5.95.  It didn't have the best crust but still good. At $5.95, I could overlook the pizza crust when traveling hungry and on a budget with very little options nearby!  So, if you find yourself in this small town and need to eat, you are safe eating here.  If I find myself traveling through here again and need to eat, I would stop again.
There was snow outside and outside temperatures were very low. Â The temp was fine in the dining area. Â However, the temperature in the bathrooms which were located WAY in the back were very COLD!
As travelers passing through the area, my husband and I were pleasantly surprised to find this neat little place. Â We both enjoyed a HUGE pasta dish with peppers and good sausage. Â In fact, our regret was that we didn't just split one dish together. Â It was HUGE, I tell you! Â This is a nice little reasonably priced local joint. Â Worth grabbing lunch on the way to the wilderness.
Review Source:Quick and friendly service. Decent prices, including $4.95 lunch specials. Can't complain too much about the food, which includes all the usual fare. Good downtown location.
It's one of the few convenient non-fast food joints around town, and I saw plenty of locals coming by to pick up take-out orders. Seemed like a great idea, considering that a fast food drive-thru might actually be a little harder on your wallet.
