Took my mom here for a nice Mother's day dinner. It was not nice! I called to make reservations and the lady on the phone told me that they were not full at all. We arrived and were not seated for a couple minutes because the lady at the desk was trying to run a credit card, which she couldn't figure out. After we were seated, it took the server 12 minutes to come and greet us. By then we had decided what we were going to order, but she only took our drink order and ran off. 8 minutes later our drinks arrived, she then ran to another table to get their order. She was super busy, about 75% of the dining room was full and she was the only server, on Mother's day!! After another 10 minutes of being ignored, a woman in flipflops came over and took our order, which I don't mind, but they really should have planned better for a busy evening, or told me that they could not accept anymore reservations. When our food finally arrived it was boring. My mother ordered potato pancakes, which she loves, and they tasted like nothing. When the older woman from the desk asked us how everything was, my mother told her that she did not like the pancakes, they had no seasoning. The lady promptly snapped "Have you ever had potato pancakes before?" No apology, nothing to try and fix the problem, just an insult. I will never go here again.
Review Source:Charming mountain golf course with a good restaurant in the old boarding house. Â Wonderful hosts. Don't miss the golf clubhouse bar in the old barn. The golf course is a challenging mountain course, not for the faint of heart. Gorgeous scenery especially in the fall. Rooms also available.
