I'm writing a review based on my many visits during my clubbing days back in the day.... from 2004-2006. But from what I've heard, little has changed. This place is cramped beyond belief - like other typical dive joints, and if you're going here on Friday or Saturday nights, you will be surrounded by Marist students looking to get plastered.
They do have some pretty good drink specials on the weekend, particularly fishbowls that are made on the heavy side. I don't recommend this place for a gathering with friends (unless you are looking to score) or on a date, but this is your quintessential college divey bar/nightclub.
In warm weather, the back patio is open for drinks and smokes. This was convenient when I was a clubber and I was a smoker. Thankfully, I am no longer neither!
OO praise to the freshman dive bar of old. This routine dive bar sports a classy entrance in which i have seen only two people be thrown through. It has great deals on pitchers and nightly shots. This place is great for frat boys and athletes alike. Its always packed and always has a line outside. walking distance from most college dorms, but walk in groups.
