We stopped in for breakfast during a 10 day motorcycle trip. What a treat! MSA is a splendid combination of small town authentic and urban good tastes. The coffee was fantastic, best of our trip. The latte was rich and foamy (it reminded me why I need to deviate from Starbucks more often.) I ordered the breakfast scramble and although it took awhile (there was one person running the shop that morning) it was worth the wait. On my plate was a generous portion of scrambled eggs, potatoes, sauteed veggies and cheese perfectly cooked. My partner ordered oatmeal which she found delicious. We really enjoyed our hour there and will happily return next time we're in southwest Wyoming.

Quaint little place with good gourmet coffee (I had my usual iced latte), breakfast sandwiches, friendly staff and interesting local artwork, jewelry and other artsy things to look at while waiting on your order. It's the local hangout for "interesting" folks that you would not normally think of as being Evanston residents.

Great little cupa and snack joint.  The menu looked good.  The Chai tea was delicious.  I will stop by here my next time through for sure.

This is a lovely cafe with good strong coffee and nicely prepared sandwiches, wraps, muffins, et al. where you can hang out all morning (tip the gal behind the counter), read the paper and watch local folks come in for their morning java. Nice art gallery attached where you can find jewelery, ceramics, quilts from local artists. They also prepare full dinner take out which looked really good.

Found this via, well, Yelp.  A cool cafe with great art on the walls, and delicious sandwiches for the road.  I was driving all day, and started out here, with a breakfast sandwich and a bag lunch for later.  The coffee was slightly burned, but passable - the sandwich was pretty much perfect.  Someone should do an oasis-of-I-80 list, and this would be on that list.  Hmmm....

Bottom line - driving through, you should stock up here instead of suffering through fast-food choices elsewhere.  You'll be glad you did.

A funky, fun little cafe with great quality, fresh food. Went here on a Yelper's recommendation while briefly in town for business. It was a nice change from the greasy fast food and Mexican I'd been having. I got an amazing piece of zucchini and swiss quiche with a small side salad. My colleague got a delicious tomato basil soup and a turkey sandwich on a croissant. I also got a freshly brewed glass of berry iced tea. Someone else with us got a great-looking quesadilla with chicken and tomatoes. The art in the place was beautiful, and the staff was friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend.

Yet another drive from DC to SF. I was glad that the Starbucks in Evanston has closed since it made me go the short distance into town to Main Street. GOOD coffee and a superb pecan muffin. I'm not sure if people know that pecans make you smarter -they do. Folks are very nice here.

I stopped here on my way back to L.A. after a summer trip through the west/midwest, and I fell in love.  Finding this quirky, non-chain, artistic coffeeshop in a small town like Evanston made my entire week.  They have VERY fast wireless internet (better than most places in L.A., in fact), a great selection of drinks and food at your regular not-cheap but not-outrageous coffee shop prices, and the art gallery connected to it adds a great ambiance and authenticity.  The music is good---real "mainstream indie" coffeeshop music---a relief after weeks of being greeted by Toby Keith or Gretchen Wilson in every store, restaurant, and gas station.  I'm the type of person who likes to go into a coffeeshop and stay for hours and hours, and I ended up spending most of several days here.  A cool place with a cool atmosphere.
