Makai Lounge

visited here twice because I so enjoyed my li hing mui margarita!!  oh man, it was divine.  i'm gonna add that picture in soon for sure, but for now the bar menu is a good place to start.

drinks are standard priced, but the ambiance is awesome with it next to the pool and walk away from the ocean.  the bartender both times was the same and she was pleasant.  I asked for a little extra li hing mui powder and she obliged and also told me I can buy it at any grocery store...which I did, thanks for the tip!!

I also managed to sample their white sangria, made with mango lime and lemon juices...went down easy, it was so refreshing and enjoyable, wish i'd ordered a glass.  the husband decided to try their mai tai since everyone on the island boasts they have the best. surprisingly, the makai lounge doesn't give into the hype, but it was honestly one of the best mai tai's we enjoyed, probably 2nd best if I had to say!  Silver Medal winner, wtg Makai :)
