We had dinner here at the end of a 7 night stay in Lihue, and the food was surprisingly good. Â We both had the fresh fish of the day - broiled Walu (escolar) - which was pretty tasty. Â Our slightly different dishes both came with a nice big fresh green salad. Â Mine came with onion rings and deep fried shrimp, hers came with rice.
Service was reasonably good. My first drink (ginger ale) came out a bit watery - I think they were out of syrup - and they replaced it no problem. Â
As far as atmosphere - we were there on a Friday night - they had a local guy playing guitar and singing a mix of pop songs (steve miller, america, etc.) and some hawaiian favorites. Â Multiple TVs featuring MMA and ESPN, so all in all a decent time. Â I'd go there again.
